A legend at Christofle says that it is Charles himself who invented the napkin ring! Unique personal item on the table, it designates every guest it’s seat. Charles’ family was very close; this is why each napkin ring is inspired by women who have marked his life: Anne, Hyacinthe, Anne-Henriette, Rosine and Marie-Rose. Henriette (named after Anne-Henriette (1800-1837) was the younger sister of Charles Christofle. She was also the mother-in-law of Leon Rouvenat a partner of Charles Christofle in the jewelry business. Through this collection, the Maison invites you around the family table of Charles Christofle.
